The installation brings together a collection of ceramics made by the artist, inspired by inherited objects found in her family’s house. The house is presented here as an empty shell through a detailed model box. The video projection is based on a Super 8 film shot by the Couta’s father in late 1950s. The work suggests a personal archaeology of the contemporary past, an excavation of objects, memories and autobiographical material.
